President Park Geun-hye arrived in Kuwait on Monday on the first leg of her nine-day tour of the Persian Gulf.
In Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar, Park will seek cooperation in areas that are considered new growth engines such as health, medicine and IT.
Park is accompanied by the largest ever delegation for a presidential trip, an entourage of more than 100 Korean businesspeople jostling to secure projects in the oil-rich region.
