Cloud-based ERP specialist ECOUNT has announced that it will open a local subsidiary in Uzbekistan in the second half of 2025. This will be the company’s ninth global subsidiary.

Uzbekistan is experiencing rapid growth in demand for digital business solutions such as ERP and inventory management software, driven by the country’s recent government-led digital transformation policy and promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The manufacturing and distribution industries in Tashkent are booming, and companies are increasingly interested in adopting solutions. In line with this trend, ECOUNT plans to establish a local subsidiary in the center of Tashkent and actively attract customers in Uzbekistan.

ECOUNT is a South Korean software company that has been specializing in cloud-based ERP since 1999. It provides an all-in-one cloud based ERP system that can be used anywhere in the world, regardless of industry. It is widely used in the global ERP market because it supports 9 languages and is highly customizable.

ECOUNT ERP has been primarily serving SMEs since its launch. As of December 2024, ECOUNT ERP is used by 80,000 customers in 70 countries, 95% of which are SMEs.

This can be a competitive advantage in Uzbekistan’s ERP market, where SMEs make up 90% of the market. ECOUNT ERP’s proven success with SMEs in various countries and industries makes it a good fit for Uzbekistan’s business environment.

ECOUNT currently operates eight global offices in South Korea, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. With this entry into Uzbekistan, the company will expand its brand presence in the Central Asian market.
