Supermarket chain E-Mart will open its first outlet in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia late this month.
The outlet will be operated by Sky Hypermarket under a joint venture with Mongolian trading company Altai Holding.
E-Mart will have a 10-percent stake and receive royalties. It is the first time the Korean retailer has entered an overseas market on a franchise basis.
