Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google and now executive chairman of Alphabet, kicked off a three-day visit to Seoul on Thursday by meeting with young entrepreneurs in Korea's tech and start-up community.

In a meeting with more than 300 businesspeople at Google's Campus Seoul, Schmidt said, "Life is short... It's important, especially as younger people, [that] you take a risk you would not take when you’re much older."
